Kuwait 2nd Oil Spill Conference provides a culture of preparedness within the oil spill response community. First time initiated in Kuwait 2nd Oil Spill Conference provides a global vital platform for international oil spill response community, which includes professionals from local, regional and global community, private sector, government, and non-governmental organizations. Professional will highlight and discuss sound sciences, practical innovations and best practices across the spectrum of prevention, preparedness, response and restoration. Kuwait 2nd Oil Spill Conference is focused on the changing landscape of Spill Preparedness and Response as oil & gas Exploration and Production, and shipping activities continue to move into more challenging environments and more public sensitivities, where the risks of oil spill are increasing significantly. It is an opportunity to the Spill response industries to demonstrate, deliberate & collaborate on Planning, Response & Mitigation Systems. As well, we want Kuwait 2nd Oil Spill Conference to be a forum on stakeholder’s commitment for Environmental Sustainability, Oil Spill Preparedness & Prevention, and the need for Synergy in Oil Spill Response & Excellence in Restoration efforts. The Conference program committee is currently seeking qualified experts interested in sharing their experience and knowledge as a member of the 2016 conference faculty. Those interested in participating are kindly invited to provide the following:

  • One paragraph bio
  • High resolution personal photo
  • Presentation abstract

Presentation abstract submissions should be prepared in Microsoft Word™ and include:

  • Title and 500 word (maximum) description of the presentation content
  • Name and credentials of the author(s)/presenter
  • Those selected as speakers must submit a PowerPoint presentation.

All presentations of the selected presenters shall be made available on the Conference website.
